Evolution of Human Movement

Past: instinct.
We react in pursuit, fighting, and flight -
for survival.

        Present: choice.

        We elect to walk, run, and ride - 
        for health, leisure and recreation.
                   Future: mandate.

                   We are obligated to sit, lie, and wait - 
                   as neurochemical resources for
                   our masters - the machines.
