DeSantis idolizes Netanyahu and Donꟷ
He kisses the ground they walk upon.
He’s buddies with Jordan and trafficker/buffoon Gaetz,
Far-righters, Trumpists, and other primates.

He refutes the label “xenophobic”
While demonstrating values Islamophobic.
Supporting illegal Israeli apartheid,
He dismisses every Palestinian’s birthright
To family ancestral groves and land
Where illegal Israeli settlements expand.
Prohibits BDS (which he calls anti-Semitic},
Thus silencing free speech and any Israel critic.

COVID stats Jones would not falsely skew
So he fired her, and she whistleblew.
When she posted the truth on her data dashboard,
He raided her home like a tyrannical warlord.

He panders to the right for lavish donations
To fulfill ‘22 and ’24 aspirations.
A donation to DeSantis from a Publix heir
Snagged vaccinations at Publix everywhere.

At Lakewood Ranch, intending donations to coax,
He set up vaccinations for wealthy white folks
Over the needs of higher risk communities
And existing waitlists in opposition counties.

Like Trump and McConnell, regressive and far right;
Not committed to service, just PR and the spotlight.
To meet our needs with genuine assistance,
He must humanize himself and narrow his distance.

Can he unlearn his egotism and evidence humility?
Can he serve us all fairly and gain respectability?
Though burning ambition consumes him within,
If DeSantis acts ethically, Florida people can win.
