To Heartland Soy Farmers
May I remind you, in case you've forgotten?
Your soybeans went nowhere, all unsold and rotten.
Trump’s high tariffs failed: China bought from Brazil.
His trade war left you no orders to fill.
While your soy farms lay fallow, flooded or failed,
Many of you went bankrupt; others were jailed.
He laughed as you farmers in the wind slowly twisted.
(He played at golf; you barely existed.)
Farm bailout bought your vote and a MAGA hat.
He schmoozed with Putin; his assets grew fat.
Respectfully (and in your defense),
You mistook charisma for competence.
He scoffs at your values, does Donnie the con.
In his tariff wars, you’re simply a pawn.
